Manchester United recently registered a 9-year-old (Rhain Davis) with incredible talent (at least according to a video of him in action for Redlands United in Brisbane).
At his age, Rhain has already perfected the samba-style stepover, popularised by Man United superstar Christiano Ronaldo. He also displays a tight control of the ball almost unheard of in a player so young. Even The Sun refers to him as the new Wayne Rooney.
Although not a huge fan of Man Utd, I must applaud their efforts in helping young players with talent achieve their dreams. Man Utd’s academy has produced outstanding players like Ryan Giggs and Bobby Charlton. Even though there are no guarantees that players will play for clubs that scouted them, I wish Chelsea will do the same.
